Credentials

Owner, Terry Hunter, has a distinct advantage as a Realtor® as she has worked her way up from early beginnings as Pod Assistant and Transaction Coordinator.  For seven years, working with hundreds of real estate agents and assisting with their marketing and transactions from Listings through Closings, Terry reviewed and processed thousands of contracts and disclosures. Gaining exposure to the many facets of real estate has allowed Terry to develop knowledge and a strong skill set to help her clients and to offer a deep understanding of the buying & selling processes. Terry has over 11 years’ experience in real estate and is dedicated to helping her clients enjoy a stress-free experience. Her clients have expressed their gratitude for her dedication, listening skills, and hard work. She has earned the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) and At Home with Diversity (AHWD) designations to better assist her clients professionally and ethically, and to better assist her veteran clients, Terry has earned the Military and Veterans Housing Certification (MVHC).

Background

Prior to real estate, Terry served in the United States Army as a Personnel Administration Specialist. Throughout this time, she relocated to numerous places throughout the U.S., Europe, Asia, Africa, and was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm.  As a veteran, Terry is disciplined and driven. She is also involved as a community member and supporter of the local Healing Warriors Program.Terry graduated from Austin Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Her goal was to become a Private Investigator and help find missing children. After graduation, she did related work conducting surveillance for a Private Investigator and later worked as an Investigator for the Texas Attorney General’s Office.  Born in the small town of Craig, Colorado, Terry returned to Colorado in 1999 putting down roots and starting a family in Fort Collins. Her daughter Allison is a 4th generation graduate of CSU with a degree in Health and Exercise Science and now resides in Minnesota. Her son Shawn is a U.S. Marine Reservist with an associate degree in finance from Front Range Community College and now resides in Washington. When Terry is not working, she enjoys bible studies with friends, racquetball, paddle-boarding, kayaking, and biking.

In early 2024, Terry joined Mary Kay™ as a way to have fun with friends and to explore skin care & cosmetic products. This new hobby/adventure has brought an uplifting spark into Terry’s life.
